Product development coordinator

We are looking for a Product and Product development coordinator to join a leading manufacturer in knits and hosiery in Montreal!

Responsibilities:

• Manage the product development process from concept to production.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials meet quality and testing standards.
• Ensure compliance with textile regulations, performance testing, and certification requirements.
• Follow up with customers, including Target and Walmart, to provide updates on production and product development.
• Monitor production timelines and resolve any potential delays or quality issues.
• Conduct product testing and analyze results to maintain performance and durability standards.
• Work closely with design and production teams to develop innovative, high-quality socks.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and oversee material sourcing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements and specifications are met.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Production, or a related field (an asset).
• 3+ years of experience in production and product development, preferably in hosiery or textiles.
• Strong knowledge of textile properties, performance testing, and compliance standards.
• Experience working with major retailers such as Target and Walmart.
• Ability to multitask and manage production schedules efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate between customers and suppliers.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
