Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week

About the Position:
We are seeking a versatile and skilled handyman to join our maintenance team in a commercial building. The ideal candidate will work in collaboration with a Class B mechanic. Any experience in mechanics is an asset, and the candidate must be capable of handling various tasks to ensure the building operates smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform basic mechanical repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment (heating, ventilation, air conditioning).
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants.
• Monitor building systems to detect any anomalies or repair needs.
• Collaborate with specialized technicians for complex repairs.
• Manage the inventory of tools and supplies needed for maintenance.
• Perform other general maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance, preferably in a commercial environment.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Ability to diagnose and solve problems proactively.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work outside normal hours if necessary (on-call).
