Custom Diamond is an Equipment Manufacturing Founded in 1932, we are a trusted leader in custom food service equipment manufacturing specialized in designing and building high-quality stainless steel and premium millwork solutions, combining craftsmanship, precision, and innovation to deliver exceptional products tailored to our Clients needs, We are seeking a motivated Purchase Manager, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the sourcing/Production process. This position requires a strong understanding of procurement strategies. The Purchase Manager will work closely with various departments to identify sourcing needs, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Manage the Purchase process for Production, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels using ERP system.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase activities in the system for reporting purposes.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors to facilitate communication and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sourcing or procurement roles within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Base knowledge with ERP systems for procurement activities.
  • Good negotiation skills with the ability.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess pricing structures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes is a plus but not required.
