Our valued client is seeking a Senior Informatica Developer to Design, Develop, and Maintain ETL Processes for a Data Conversion Project
Preference for candidates based in Montreal, Toronto, or Ottawa, with occasional on-site meetings. Remote candidates will also be considered. 8 hour work days
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in ETL workflows.
- Perform unit, integration, and system testing on ETL processes.
- Manage encryption and data security to ensure compliance with best practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders to optimize data transformation and conversion processes.
Must-Have Skills:
- 6+ years of experience as an Informatica Developer, with expertise in data conversion and transformation.
- Proficiency in SQL, Unix, and Shell scripting, with experience in optimizing code for performance.
- Prior experience working on SAP conversion or migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of systems development and project lifecycle methodologies.
- Familiarity with ITSM, ITIL, and change/incident management tools.
Nice-Have Skills:
- Experience with Agile methodologies for specification and testing.
- Familiarity with Google Productivity Tools (or similar tools) for documentation and design.
