Our valued client is seeking to hire a Senior Data Engineer to perform data pipeline orchestration and big data processing on a public sector project.
Background:
The organization requires the development of a data-centric framework that prepares the ERP and adjacent data sources focused on interoperability that can support a Pan Domain concept. Simultaneously it must cultivate a culture that realizes the importance of data and digital processes at every level within the organization.
Tasks:
- Provide expert knowledge and perform data engineering using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
- Perform Big Data processing.
- Perform Data pipeline orchestration.
- Perform Data modeling and database design.
- Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Perform work within SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Perform database development using Python and SQL.
Must Haves:
- Data Engineering – 10+ years
- Azure Data Analytics – 2+ years
- Secret Clearance
Nice to Haves:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
