Our client is seeking a Senior Bilingual Systems Administrator to support the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Citrix environment and products (XenApp, XenDesktop).
Initial 3-month contract with high possibility of extension, hybrid in Montreal, Saint-Hyacinthe, or Laval ( 3 days/week remote, 2 days/week onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Citrix Administration: Manage and administer Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix Cloud environments.
- Deployment and Configuration: Deploy, configure, and maintain Citrix farms and associated infrastructure, including Netscaler, StoreFront, and Provisioning Services (PVS).
- Assess IT systems to help them achieve their business objectives. Plan, design and implement Citrix Cloud Migration projects
- Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of Citrix systems, including the implementation of monitoring and tuning strategies to ensure an optimal user experience.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support and resolve complex issues related to the Citrix environment, including Level 3 incidents.
- Security: Ensure the security of Citrix infrastructures by implementing security policies and conducting regular audits.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of Citrix environments and business processes.
- Training and Mentoring: Train and mentor junior IT team members on Citrix best practices and technologies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, networking, and security teams to ensure the integration and harmonization of Citrix solutions across the IT ecosystem
Must-have Skills:
- 7+ years experience as a Systems Administrator working with Citrix
- Experience with Citrix products: XenApp, XenDesktop, Netscaler, StoreFront
- Excellent communication in French and English
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Certifications: Citrix certification (CCA-V, CCP-V, or CCE-V) is highly desired.
