Job Summary

Under the supervision of the IT Technical Team Leader, the IT Field Technician is responsible for providing technical support on-site for a range of computer issues, specifically focusing on equipment for both outdoor and indoor use. This position involves proactive identification, research, and resolution of technical problems, requiring a quick response to telephone calls, emails, and user support requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of both outdoor and indoor IT infrastructures at terminals such as networking, kiosks, and cameras.
• Effective management of service calls, ensuring rigorous follow-up until complete resolution.
• Ensuring the optimal daily operation of applications and computer hardware.
• Diagnosing and solving hardware and software problems across all equipment managed by the IT department.
• Completing any other related tasks assigned by supervision.

Requirements

• Diploma in computer support or related field.
• At least five (5) years of experience in a relevant technical role, with a strong emphasis on hands-on and industrial experience.
• Must be available to work evening shifts (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) from Monday to Friday.
• Ability to work effectively at heights without vertigo.
• Valid and current driver's license.
• French is mandatory, but an advanced proficiency in English is also required due to the international nature of the company and the need to interact with international clients and partners, as well as to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues.

• Proven expertise in manual handling and repair of equipment;
• Willingness to work primarily outdoors in various environmental conditions;

• Customer service experience, considered a major asset.
