Sanimax is currently seeking a Business Analyst with experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in the finance, manufacturing, and/or transportation domain and system integrations. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership and work autonomy.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Identifying key operational imperatives and monitoring performance.
  • Analyzing the impact of enterprise-wide changes.
  • Documenting both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Evaluating and recommending optimal, proven solutions based on best practices for the entire organization.
  • Preparing and verifying related content, including processes and training materials.
  • Ensuring the sustainability, governance, and compliance of implemented solutions.
  • Coordinating activities and maintaining effective communication with cross-functional teams across multiple locations, both internally and externally.
  • Managing projects, including creating project plans, communication strategies, status updates, risk management, and budget follow-up.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Sanimax’s key success factors and overall business model.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all business units and districts.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Sanimax's application portfolio and processes, enabling the prioritization of investments in strategic operational systems.
  • Gain expertise in current operational processes within the specialty area, as well as the desired future state of these functions.
  • Utilize standardized process management techniques to map, document, and model current and future processes.
  • Serve as a liaison between users, IT teams, and third-party vendors, leading meetings, following up on action plans, coordinating support, and escalating when necessary. Participate in vendor management assessments, manage Statements of Work (SOW), and oversee cost and invoicing.
  • Guide business application specialists and power users in applying established methods for continuous process improvement.

The Business Analyst will have ongoing responsibilities for their user community, including:

  • Contributing to company growth through mergers, acquisitions, sales, product development, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Ensuring project quality by adhering to Sanimax's methods, standards, and change management processes.
  • Staying updated on technology trends to meet strategic objectives, including data analysis with SQL, Power BI reports, and API integration monitoring.
  • Defining user needs, creating scenarios, and documenting technical requirements through interviews, sessions, and research.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders in solution design and scenario development.
  • Facilitating sessions to analyze the usability and application of solutions.
  • Performing additional tasks, such as gap analysis, risk assessment, and transition requirements for system migrations and upgrades.

Travel:

The position holder will be required to travel to all Sanimax facilities in North America as needed for projects and training. The percentage of travel may vary depending on the requirements of different projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent operational experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in a similar role, conducting business analyses for large-scale initiatives.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, integrations, and process optimization, with expertise in INFOR M3 (ERP), particularly in manufacturing, transportation, and finance.
  • Experience with maintenance management software, transportation process management, Health & Safety management, CRM.
  • Experience with tools such as SQL, Boomi, Guide TI, Ortec, Verizon Connect, TMS Descartes, Zendesk (asset).
  • Expertise in system integration, database search, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to write clear documentation, ensuring operational expectations, project strategies, and successful delivery.
  • Experience documenting requirements, designing solutions, and creating testing strategies, process documentation, and training materials.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with users and clients.
  • Extensive experience in business analysis within the financial domain, including involvement in large-scale projects related to budgeting processes, financial reporting, consolidation, and mergers and acquisitions. Proficiency in period-end processes, journal entries, and various components of financial operations.
  • Expertise in manufacturing analysis, including inventory management, production, and quality control.
  • In-depth experience in transportation analysis, with focus on route optimization, fleet management, and cost reduction.
