Intermediate Bilingual iOS (Swift) Developer to support the development of system specifications and testing of code – 792

Our valued client is actively seeking a Intermediate Bilingual iOS (Swift) Developer to support the development of system specifications and testing of code.

6 month Contract – working hybrid (2 days in office/3 days remote) in downtown Montreal.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out analysis of systems and programming requirements to identify problems and provide proposed solutions, including program specifications.
• Develop system specifications, code, modify, test and debug computer programs under general supervision, according to planning and deadlines.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications / software components.
• Organize and manage production sessions.
• Ensure the design and modeling of programmatic solutions for complex problems to enable the realization of documented functional and non-functional requirements.
• Review design as part of deliverables (code and design quality).
• Develop and support complex components.
• Support and guide the project team in development activities to ensure the quality of delivered code while meeting project deadlines.
• Write unit and integration tests for each function in which development is required.
• Participate in the implementation of regression testing strategies to improve the stability of application components.
• Provide support and maintenance (level 1) for the application and resolve complex anomalies.

Must-Haves:

• 3+ years of IOS mobile developer using Swift development, including SwiftUI
• Excellent communication skills in English & French

Nice to have skills:

• Backend development using Kotlin, GraphQL.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of best practices for mobile application security.
• Experience in optimizing mobile application performance.
