Intermediate Bilingual Business Analyst to support the deployment of a Business Continuity Management (BCM) system. -2290

Our valued client is actively seeking an Intermediate Bilingual Business Analyst to support the deployment of a Business Continuity Management (BCM) system.

Initial 6-month contract with possible extension, working hybrid in Montreal (3 days/week remote, 2 days/week onsite).

Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements elicitation sessions, get consensus and business approval on requirements elicited during workshops and other requirements gathering sessions, and deliver the functional analysis;
• Conduct field interviews and meetings with stakeholders and SMEs to clarify and document specific business needs, business rules and current/future state processes relating to Risk Management and Business Continuity Plans;
• Work in collaboration with Architects and other key stakeholders to refine requirements and to identify impacts on current processes and systems impacted and to analyze the feasibility of the options;
• Based on the preliminary analysis and the solution architecture, document operational and functional specifications and requirements (Operation Functions, Data Structure, Data mapping, Technical Requirements, User Stories, Data Migration Requirements, etc.);
• Work closely with other teams or third-party service providers to implement solutions;
• Work in collaboration with change lead and change champions to provide required inputs for change management strategies and plans;
• Participate in design workflows, application configurations, and validate technical designs;
• Lead the analysis, creation, and update of documents, process maps, and procedures for business process flows supported;
• Work with IT technical team to provide optimal solutions to meet business requirements;
• Support validation of test strategy, test plans, test cases, test execution, and test results to ensure compliance with business needs and requirements;
• Support and participate in the elaboration of user acceptance criteria;
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) in coordination with business SMEs to ensure compliance with business needs and requirements.

Must-Haves:

• 5+ year experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience application development projects (user stories/cases)
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.

Nice-to-haves:

• Knowledge of Transport Operations
