The opportunity: 
We are seeking talented and energetic candidates to join our Advisory, Management Consulting team as an Intern/Co-op Consultant working in our Montreal office starting in May 2025 to August 2025. Positions are available in the following service lines:

Customer  

The KPMG Customer Team creates best-in-class digitally enabled customer experiences (CX) as part of our clients’ wider organizational strategy. We operate across seven key service domains: CX design, growth strategy, digital advisory, e-commerce advisory, innovation, and contact center advisory. Our projects are about understanding strategy, technology, design, and processes through the lens of digital customer experiences. We would love to hear from individuals with experience or interest in helping clients reshape their business around their customers and enabling truly connected and profitable enterprise.  

 

Operations  

The Operations team at KPMG supports clients in the Financial Services sector (Wealth & Asset Management, Insurance, Private Equity, Pensions), the Public Sector and the Technology, Media and Telecommunication sectors through a range of services: strategic planning, Target Operating Model (TOM) design, process improvement/redesign, cost optimization, value realization, and accounting/regulatory change programs. We are looking for individuals that bring experience or interest in working on transformation and projects from planning to execution. We want to hear from individuals that want to develop a broad skillset that will allow them to perform current situation assessments, as well as visioning/target state design, develop roadmaps and support implementations.  

 

Supply Chain 

Amidst ever-changing technological, economic, and regulatory challenges, all sectors share a fundamental need for agile and effective supply chain management. This is precisely where KPMG's Supply Chain team stands out. We assist our clients in optimizing their supply chains, enabling them to accelerate growth, improve operational efficiency, and deliver significant added value to their customers. We are looking for experienced and passionate individuals who understand the complexities of supply chain design and management, capable of adopting a strategic approach to generate and maintain net value for our clients throughout the value chain, from suppliers to customers. 

 

Banking Capital Markets (BCM) 

KPMG’s Banking and Capital Markets (BCM) Practice enables our clients in the banking, capital markets and payments industries to uncover and capitalize on new opportunities. We support a wide range of banks, credit unions, fintechs, payment providers, and other financial services organizations in their pursuit of achieving strategic objectives. BCM is a collaborative team of highly seasoned specialists from diverse fields such as banking, capital markets, payments, banking technology, and finance transformation. Our clients look to us for expertise in identifying, quantifying, and delivering complex organizational change required to grow, innovate, compete, and remain resilient in an ever-evolving marketplace. Intelligent Automation (IA)

Our professionals help organizations leverage intelligent automation to drive value across the value chain from front to back-office functions. Our team employs people from a wide range of backgrounds, from AI/ML experts to people specialized in process optimization and business analysis. As such, we would love to hear from individuals with experience and/or a passion for innovation, technology, process optimization and/or computer sciences/development. 

 

Transformation Delivery Services (TDS) 

The Transformation Delivery Services team brings an integrated, human-centered approach to major projects, with an ultimate focus on a painless transformation journey and successful outcomes. With our broad experience, KPMG helps clients avoid the common pitfalls of transformation programs with practical steps and proven capabilities. We are looking for individuals that have an interest/experience in change management or project management, that want to develop into experts in program and project management to accompany our clients in delivering large scale transformation programs. 

 

IT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture 

The IT strategy team at KPMG advises clients on how new technology will impact their business and delivers innovative end-to-end digital transformation. We work with digital and functional leaders across industries and sectors to define their vision for digital transformation, develop tailored technology strategies, align with IT assets to be more customer centric, and create and execute implementation plans that drive business value. We want to hear from individuals with experience and/or a clear passion for technology. 

 

People & Change (P&C) 

The People and Change team enhance clients performance both the private and public sectors by helping to shape and navigate the important people dynamics related to the transformation of work, capabilities, and behaviors. We assist our clients with strategic alignment, change management, workforce shaping, embedding inclusion and diversity, capability building & learning, digital HR transformations and culture shifting. Our practice is looking for individuals that have experience and/or a passion for problem solving while adopting a people first approach. They will help us drive value and enhance our client’s success by optimizing their talent agenda and activating their most valuable resource, their people. 

 

Enterprise Solutions (ES)  

Enterprise Solutions has many pillars such as Microsoft, ServiceNow and Workday. Our practice works to bring expertise in services covering end to end system implementations and technology transformations. We recognize that the technology landscape is rapidly changing; client have more choice than ever in selecting various business solutions and need experts to help them choose, implement and optimise their systems. Our practice stays ahead by embracing innovation and industry leading solutions to transform businesses. Keeping in that end-to-end approach, our team is looking for individuals with a passion for technology that have experiences and/or interests ranging from computer science and application development to project management and business analysis that are looking to start their career by rapidly developing expertise with a specific solution. 

 

Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) 

Our team works with finance functions to empower them to become more insightful and true business partners. This includes determining appropriate enterprise business measures, planning and forecasting integrated business outcomes, analyzing and reporting business scenarios and results, and ultimately delivering the insight needed to drive enhanced business performance. We are looking for team members with experience or interest in financial planning and analysis, with a particular focus on implementing technology solutions to enable these processes. 

 

Generative AI (GenAI) 

Artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI is not just a technology—it’s a game-changer. By adopting AI as a core element of their enterprise, organizations can advance to more sophisticated industry-specific solutions, deep vertical use cases, and proprietary data training and models. Organizations can also explore how AI will enhance services, products and customer experience, even creating new product or services categories. From defining AI strategies, identifying and prototyping AI use cases, modernizing data and technology to scale AI, to managing governance and risks — KPMG’s GenAI consultants leverage their skills in business analysis, technical expertise and alliances with cutting-edge solutions to help their clients adapt to the new reality of AI. 

What you bring to the role

FOR CONSULTANT LEVEL:  

 

  • You are enrolled in a university degree program (we will be considering candidates from a spectrum of programs such as Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Commerce, Arts, etc.) 
  • Please note that our Intelligent Automation and Enterprise Solutions practices are looking to fill both technical and generalist roles. Experience in coding and computer science are a strong asset for the technical roles.   
  • You are currently in your first, second, or third year of study 
  • You are a highly motivated individual, enthusiastic about taking on a variety of challenges and opportunities 
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal  
  • You have a strong academic record  
  • You have the ability to work independently without supervision  
  • You have strong problem solving and analytical abilities, as well as a proven track record of successfully dealing with competing priorities and deadlines under pressure  
  • You have a strong sense of personal accountability  
  • You have an entrepreneurial drive, and are a creative problem solver
