WHO YOU ARE:

We are currently looking for a Data Base Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Install and configure database management systems (DBMS) and related tools.
  • Implement and maintain database security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
  • Create and manage database backups and implement disaster recovery plans.
  • Monitor database performance and optimize system resources.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency through regular integrity checks.
  • Schedule and perform database maintenance tasks.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels to databases.
  • Identify and resolve database-related issues in collaboration with teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 6+ years of working experience in a similiar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Strong knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with database monitoring tools and performance metrics analysis.
  • Solid understanding of SQL, Oracle, and database query optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
