BI Analyst, People Analytics

This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted April 8, 2025.

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Power BI Developer to design, develop, and implement HR dashboards and reports for our organization. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in creating interactive data visualizations, data modeling, and data analysis using Power BI tools, including DAX. The role will require collaboration with HR business partners, data analysts, and other professionals to understand business requirements and deliver HR analytics and insights using Agile methodology. You will take part in stimulating projects that will generate value for the business and consolidate BRP's reputation as a leader in analytics.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Work in coordination with the Product Owner and the People Analytics team in an agile methodology to deliver value on identified features.

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and key HR stakeholders to have a clear understanding of the HR data and business rules of the existing or future state solution.

  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI tools, including DAX.

  • Create interactive data visualizations, data models, and data analysis using Power BI.

  • Work with HR business partners and data analysts to identify requirements, data sources, and metrics for HR analytics.

  • Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to ensure data security, data quality, and data governance for HR data.

  • Maintain documentation, data dictionaries, and user guides for HR dashboards and reports.

  • Provide training and support to HR business partners and end-users on how to use HR dashboards and reports.

  • Use Agile methodology to manage deliverables and ensure timely deployment of HR dashboards and reports.

  • Participate in Agile meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality HR analytics and insights.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Power BI development, with a focus on HR analytics and reporting.

  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data analysis, and data visualization using Power BI tools, including DAX.

  • Experience in HR data analytics, metrics, and KPIs.

  • Proficiency in SQL, data integration, and data transformation using ETL tools.

  • Participation in implementing HR advanced analytics components.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Experience in Agile development methodologies.
