What is the opportunity?

As Operations Agent, Records and Distribution (R&D), you will responsible for accurately processing tasks efficiently and effectively, primarily working various mail room and administrative support functions. You will consistently apply specific procedural and technical knowledge, tools and resources to meet or exceed established workflow targets.

What will you do?

  • Deliver excellent service to our clients every time; focusing on doing what is best for our clients and the organization – making it Simpler, Faster, Better.
  • Focus on attaining *established benchmarks for designated client activities, transactions and/or processes, contributing to achievement of business specific Client Service Commitments (CSCs) and/or Service Level Agreement (SLA)
  • Demonstrate appropriate sense of urgency in daily activities understanding the importance and impact of personal actions on achieving a superior client experience
  • Take ownership and accountability of client concerns at first point of contact, refers to manager where applicable in accordance with established client escalation protocol for the business
  • Exercise due diligence in following RBC operational risk policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
  • Take full accountability for quality and accuracy of day to day job responsibilities, tasks and activities ensuring a balanced focus on client experience, efficiency and effectiveness and operational risk and compliance
  • Proactively identify operational inefficiencies in daily operational processes for assigned activities/tasks and recommends solutions to the manager
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities from service/process gaps, recurring client errors and operational risk within the team and/or department/function
  • Preform Double verification and approval of transaction for the team

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in information gathering and processing
  • Relevant work experience in data processing and performance target based work environment
  • Agile and adaptable to learning new processes
  • Must be able to work within the hours of 8am-5pm

Nice-to-have

  • Prior experience with documentation review
  • Knowledge of required applications like Service Platform, Sales platform,Rightfax, CART etc.
  • Effective communication skills : oral and written
