POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a General Manager to manage a rental building located in Montreal. You are said to be a team player who enjoys taking on challenges, this position is perfect for you!

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate the work of the housekeeping and maintenance teams
  • Create and implement a plan of action to improve the apartment rental process
  • Ensure information is disseminated throughout the complex
  • Ensure optimal management of your building
  • Ensure that business processes are effective and resident services are of a high quality
  • Manage rent collection and deposits according to established standards
  • Optimize human resources in support of operational and financial efficiency objectives
  • Plan tenant arrivals and departures and see to the optimal execution of these activities while ensuring the safety and security of the building and its occupants
  • Provide a high level of customer service
  • Responsible for marketing the property to maintain full occupency
  • Supervise outsie contractors working in the building
  • Work to ensure that the teams skills and knowledge is updated and maintained
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3 years of relevant experience in property management.
  • Bilingualism both oral and written
  • Good communication
  • A working knowledge of the software system Hopem (an asset)
  • Experience in personnel management
