Hello, I am Melissa, Recruitment and Business Development Advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in recruitment for finance, accounting and payroll professions.

I am looking, for my clients, in the Mile End, for an accounting technician, this is a permanent position, 2 day in the office:

Tasks of the accounting technician:
* Entry of accounts payable
* Preparation of payments and delivery of documents for signature
* Respond to supplier emails and reminders
* Prepare payroll and manage VRSPs and group insurance
* Bank reconciliations
* Make end-of-month entries
* Complete quarterly tax reports
* Updating accounts receivable in the accounting tool
* Salary reclassification
* Supplier management
* Issuing customer invoices
* Establishment of cost reports for grant applications
* Share cost reports per project to different parties
* Support to the accounting team for the end of the year
* Response to requests for information from management

Requirements:

* Minimum 3-5 years of experience
* Must have previously completed employee payroll
* Knowledge of DEXT and QBOOK software an asset
* Mastery of EXCEL
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team
